Forbes Marshall wanted to overcome traditional sales strategies

The marketing teams at Forbes Marshall sought to break free from traditional communication methods to convey product value and truly empower their sales team. Decades of specializing in high-performance valves, and refining energy efficiency in large workspaces, led to wanting to step up from communication methods such as PDFs and mobile comms which were inadequate in highlighting how their solutions could improve sustainability.

Unifying sales teams to know what their selling is brings conviction to create value for customers. That’s where I wanted to build something that would enable my teams to communicate our complex sustainability solutions. This then would streamline our processes, and boost our sales efficiency.

Forbes Marshall chose an application that showed the true potential of their products - powered by Maionic

Replica of state-of-the-art environment

Maionic helped create a digital replica of the Pune factory to immerse visitors into the world of Forbes Marshall. It included a welcome area where users were greeted and provided in-depth information about different factory sections.

Interactive Zones and Features

To create a more simplified and enjoyable experience for visitors, the immersive space was divided into four key areas: Knowledge Center, Manufacturing 360, Solutions Arena, and an Auditorium.

Knowledge Center

To provide detailed information, the center was divided into service, product, and history sections.

Manufacturing 360

Featured an immersive tour of the manufacturing area and training rigs used for employee training, enhancing understanding of the production process.

Solutions Arena

Focused on specific industries like chemicals and pharmaceuticals, demonstrating how Forbes Marshall’s products integrate into different equipment workflows.

Auditorium

Hosted webinars and on-demand videos to update customers on new offerings and re-engage their focus on sustainability solutions.

Detailed Overview of Equipment

To give a detailed demonstration of their product application, the environment provided a comprehensive digital tour featuring 7 large-scale industrial machines and over 25 product applications, including Industrial Boilers, MEE, Industrial Reactors, and Distillation Towers.

Product Interactivity

Through a collaborative effort with SMEs, detailed digital twins of the product were developed that brought technical drawings to life. This enriched visualization, coupled with interactive features such as clickable hotspots and drag-and-drop exercises, simplified the explanation of product applications, allowing sales members to effectively demonstrate product depth and functionality within the environment.

Adding the human touch

Visitors could interact with virtual avatars of industry experts who provided personalized guidance and insights, simulating a real-world tour experience.
