Grundfos wanted to create a virtual platform that demonstrated next-gen industrial production

Grundfos’s Turkish marketing team wanted to create a global campaign that highlighted the next gen of industrial production. They wanted to showcase their product and the nature of its application at various customer events which would not only boost lead gen but also influence key decision makers in infra projects and energy management across IMEA regions. However, transporting and displaying their large-sized, sophisticated industrial pumps to these events was a challenge. Grundfos knew that to engage their target audience they needed a digital solution that effectively demonstrated the versatility and specific applications of their pumps. They required a digital solution that maintained the momentum of their flagship annual event and overcame a lot of traditional limitations.

Grundfos and Maionic came together to create a 3D platform for Smart Industry solutions: 

Grundfos in collaboration with Maionic created a smart industry experience through a 3D 360-degree immersive digital platform, allowing users to explore the applications of Grundfos pumps interactively and vividly. On the first floor of the showroom, a virtual avatar of a Grundfos representative welcomes attendees. They can then move on to explore the history wall tracing Grundfos’s products through the decades, a social wall, lounge space for gaming and a dedicated space for attendees to know about regional Grundfos leaders.

Seven Exhibition Booths

The platform included seven uniquely designed exhibition booths, such as Wash and Clean, Intelligent Boiler Feed system, Comprehensive Water treatments, etc. Each demonstrated the use of Grundfos pumps in different industries. CR-XL, a new product launch, was highlighted to showcase its applications and features prominently.

Service Solution booth

A service solution booth was set up to address the maintenance of Grundfos products.   Customers could avail service solutions such as energy checks, predictive maintenance, spare parts, etc. to make sure their Grundfos products remain sustainable and optimized for energy efficiency.

Use Case-Focused Design

Each booth was designed as a use case scenario for Grundfos pumps, effectively demonstrating their versatility and specific benefits in real-world applications.

Animated Presentations and Learning Modules

Animated presentations clarified complex processes, while the 'E Academy' offered learning modules for an in-depth understanding of water systems and pump technologies. Additionally, a virtual mascot was also created called the G-Bot which would preface attendees with info about the booth and the product range.

Live Webinars and Knowledge Sharing

The platform featured live webinars with industry experts, knowledge-sharing sessions, and live chats to enhance user engagement and provide real-time insights. Attendees could access the platform anytime they wanted for the two days of the event.

Engaging Gaming Zones

To make the learning process more interactive and enjoyable, engaging gaming zones were included, where participants could learn through play, enhancing the educational impact.
