Grundfos wanted to create awareness about their solutions among the plumbing community in the UK and Ireland

Grundfos identified a critical gap in the UK and Ireland plumbing community's awareness regarding their innovative plumbing solutions. The community often relied on intermediaries for information, limiting their understanding of Grundfos's full range of solutions. To address this, Grundfos wanted to develop a scalable application that directly educates plumbers and installers about their products and the latest sustainability practices in water and heating systems. The aim was not just to sell products but to empower these key stakeholders with the knowledge to solve day-to-day plumbing challenges effectively.

Grundfos co-created a dynamic learning experience for the plumbing community

As the goal was to increase awareness about sustainable plumbing solutions and practices, Maionic created an interactive virtual showroom that transformed standard product showcases into a dynamic learning experience.

The experience begins with a guidance video that helps visitors understand how to navigate around the showroom and multiple features like downloading materials and application shareability.

The virtual showroom was meticulously organized into three main sections: Service & Training, Auditorium, and pumping product exhibits on the main floor.

Service & Training

This area, also known as Grundfos Ecademy, offered training videos that detailed product designs, specifications, installation procedures, and sustainability practices specifically crafted to upskill plumbers and installers.

Auditorium

Here, visitors could access live and on-demand videos where Grundfos team members explained how their products contribute to creating sustainable homes.

Product exhibits

This area showcases products in its applied environment. Each product was supported by info spots that included multimedia information on features and specs, tying it all together with isolated 3D models of that product. The product booth featured avatars that guided visitors through the pump’s functionalities. This helped visitors understand use cases and applications with more clarity. Attendees also had the option of directly reaching out to Grundfos experts or placing an inquiry.
